I'm an active gamer, PBEM, PBM, and FtF.  I was away from the hobby for
about 15 years after graduating from college and I returned only within the
last 3 years, first to my primary love, Diplomacy, then, in the last year,
to anything and everything.  Those of you who follow
rec.games.board.marketplace will know that I am an active bidder, as I
attempt to buy all the cool games I missed while I was wandering in the
wilderness.  I buy to play, not collect, though, which is why I am so happy
to be playing RCW.

I know several of the other players in this game.  Alan and Chuck are in
the process of kicking my butt in PBEM RoR (they are unquestionably
evil...;-).  John and I regularly play FtF as we live only about 45 minutes
apart.  In his case, however, familiarity breeds respect (when he starts
gently and rationally explaining to your opponent why *you* should be the
target of the next attack instead of him, you'll know what I mean...;-)  To
the best of my knowledge, I know none of the other players which only means
that I don't yet know why I should not trust you either...
