I would like to discuss with you the current situation regarding the Venetian
invasion of my homeland.

First of all let me quote from a letter to me from him :

For obvious reasons I could not accept these conditions for a number of
reasons - I am able to defend my lands from the Austrian menace without
'assistance' from the Doge.

I have regained my power enough to hold my lands - except against an all
out attack by the Doge.

I would put it to you that the Doge has done a pact with the Austrians
to ensure a non-agression pact whilst he deals with the Turkish people.

I do not wish to destroy the Doge - yet he carries on if he owns the
Balkans - and if not them then why not Italy itself ?

I strongly request your assistance to curb the Doge in his destuctive
ways. If this is not done then I believe that the southern Italian
states are next for the 'assistance'

Sorry, for the mistake with the attempted move to Friuli. I am still under
the impression of the house rules of other Machiavelli's, that I am
playing. Now this army is as useless as a second ass, since Venice can
never be attacked, if there is no enemy fleet around; I built only as a
last resort against a surprise attack, as long as my main forces are
fighting far away from the mainland. Can I simply revoke
its build, and credit the 3d back into my account ?  Or may I exchange it
for an A Treviso with an xxxx order as an alternative ? 

Otherwise I must convert it into a fleet, for which I do not have any use,
or which would change my future strategy completely, if I wanted to use
it...
