Hi, I am 40 (soon to be 41) and am a university lecturer, teaching Internet and multimedia to students on information management courses. I will be changing universities come January and be working around the corner from home so expect more email from me in the New Year :-) I am married with two boys (8 and 11). My wife is not a gamer but puts up with my obsession. I play mostly PBEM but do get out occasionally to FTF games. I have a large number of multi-player games on the go. I have played Empires of the Middle Ages before PBEM using a similar set of PBEM rules. Will Walker (in the player observer list) was also in that game. The EMAMAP aid was written for that game. It broke up as we were trying to play the Grand Scenario and realised that we never would finish...by the end I accumalated lots of cash and areas as Byzantium and was everyone's bete noir ;-) Paul Barrett (Poland) is in three PBEM games with me, a Machiavelli 2nd ed game which he is running, a Machiavelli 1st ed game which I am running (see my web page) and an ROR PBEM which is stalled. Ian Schofield (Denmark) I know from a couple of PBEM games of Kingmaker (see my web page for one of them). Chris "Mid West" Fawcett I have PBEM'd with twice at After the Holocaust (again, see my web page). Finally I am currently in a PBEM of Pax Britannica with Joe (Germany). Best of luck to everyone - may your leader never die heirless! Alan Poulter Web-Grognards
