Map errata: Hex 1806 is Variable. [6.0] General Rule (Addition) All Leader(s) plus Strength Points which start and end the Movement phase in the same hex/city are assessed as a stack for Attrition Points. All Forces from one player which end the Movement Phase in the same hex (or city) automatically form one Force, after Attrition has been assessed. Resulting stacks assume the worst features of their constituent forces. (6.32) This applies at the end of movement, and thruout all other phases. Thus a force may pass thru (and/or drop off units) in a city during movement, even tho it is too large to stay there. (6.43) A Force may drop off SP along the way, but attrition is determined as if all those SP went the entire distance. The only way to reduce attrition is to have them move separately, for which, of course, you need more than one leader. Muslim Leaders, while moving without SPs, do not incur attrition points. [6.48] Clarification This rule is overruled by 10.53, ie both Crusader and Muslim players may spend bezants to offset siege attrition. [7.22] (Correction) Replace '(see, also, Case 9.63)' with '(see, also, Case 10.35)'. (9.36) Armenians use Muslim formations (if necessary); Byzantines use Christian. 10.37 (Addition) If two (or more) Forces from Friendly players attempt to enter an unoccupied City at the same time, all stay outside (exception: a Force from the player controlling the city may enter). (12.51) No SP may be moved by sea w/o a leader being present. [19.12] (Replacement) A City Treasury is any City with bezants from income. City Treasury levels are recorded on paper. 19.21 (Addition) Payments to offset siege attrition must come from a Field Treasury of a Leader participating in the siege (i.e. in the hex). [19.23] (Replacement) A player's Leader occupying a City controlled by that player may automatically transfer bezants from its City Treasury to his Field Treasury. Transferring bezants between Field Treasuries requires that both Leaders owning those Field Treasuries are in the same hex/city. There is no movement cost to pick up or transfer bezants, nor is there any limit to the amount that can be carried. 19.4 (Addition) Bribes may not be paid to (or from) a Leader in a City under siege. [20.63] (Addition) If reinforcements cannot be placed inside a City due to stacking limts they are placed outside. Reinforcements can arrive in a city under siege. [23.22] (Addition) A Leader (and his Treasury) may bribe an Armenian leader only if the latter is within 10 MP of the former, and the former can trace a LOC to the latter (in order to deliver the bezants). (24.1) The provision about avoiding combat does not apply to sieges or to moving with intent to siege. (24.2) The ability of one side to use/move another's SP must be in writing, as part of their Orders (both). SP so borrowed may be lent only from a force with a (lending) leader. The borrowing player is under no obligation - other than his honor - to return the troops.
